Getting started
A tour of Store settings
What each tab in Store settings does, from your theme and legal pages to tracking pixels and exporting your readers.
Store settings has nine tabs. You can come back to any of them at any time.
General
Your store name, web address, currency and logo. The logo can be a PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG.
Domain
Your store address, and the place to connect your own domain.
Theme
Start from a ready-made look, then change the layout, colors, heading font and body font. A preview next to the form shows how readers will see your store.
Legal pages
Every store starts with three pages written from a template with your store’s name: a privacy policy, terms of sale and a refund policy. Each one shows Template until you edit and save it. Read them and make them yours. They use Markdown: # Heading, **bold**, - list item.
Selling
Switches for:
- “You might also like” on book pages: other books in the same series first, then your newest books.
- Lower bundle prices for books a reader already owns. See bundles.
- A newsletter sign-up form on every page. Readers confirm by email before they are added.
- Reader reviews on book pages. Only readers who bought the book can review it, and you approve each review.
- A reminder for a cart a reader left: one email after an hour and one after a day, only when they gave their email.
Shipping
Rates for printed books you send yourself. See own stock and shipping zones.
Tracking
Optional Google Analytics 4, Meta (Facebook) pixel and TikTok pixel IDs. Pixels load only after a reader accepts cookies. Leave a field empty to switch it off.
Formats
The formats you sell and their starting prices. See editions and formats.
Your data
Download your readers and your orders as CSV files to open in a spreadsheet or move to another service. The readers file has email, name, marketing consent, number of orders and total spent. The orders file has one row per item, and you can pick a date range. Download links work for 15 minutes; make a new export any time.
