Create your store
Pick a store name, a web address and a currency. Your store is set up right away and goes live once it is approved.
Your store is where readers buy your books, on its own web address. One store is for one pen name.
Steps
- After you sign up, choose Create your store.
- Store name. Usually your pen name. Readers see it at the top of every page.
- Web address. We suggest one from your store name. Your store lives at
your-name.lanternbee.shopuntil you connect your own domain. - Currency. US dollar, euro, British pound, Canadian dollar, Australian dollar or New Zealand dollar. Prices are shown in this currency. It locks after your first order, so pick the one you want to be paid in.
- Choose Create store. You land in Store settings.
You can change the name and web address later under Store settings, General. You can also upload a logo there.
Waiting for approval
New stores are checked by a person before they go live. While yours waits, you can set up everything: books, theme, legal pages and domain. A note at the top of Store settings tells you it is waiting. It goes live as soon as it is approved.
