Own stock and shipping zones

If you have boxes of books at home, you can sell them and post them yourself. Choose Shipped from my stock as the fulfilment for that edition.

Track your stock

On the edition card in Books, under Stock:

• Copies on hand: how many you have.
• Warn me below, optional: the number at which you want a warning.

Choose Save stock. The edition says Ready to sell while you have copies.

Shipping zones

Readers can’t buy books you post yourself until you add at least one shipping zone.

1. Go to Store settings, Shipping and choose Add zone.
2. Give the zone a Name, like “UK and Ireland”.
3. Under Countries, type two-letter country codes separated by commas, like GB, IE. Use * for every country not in another zone.
4. Add a rate: a Name like “Standard”, a Price, and optionally Free over, the order total above which shipping is free.
5. Choose Add another rate for a faster option, like “Tracked”.
6. Choose Save.

At the cart, a reader picks their country and sees the rates of its zone.

To change or delete a zone, choose Edit.
