Coming. Lulu is not working in Lanternbee yet. This page says what is there today and what is planned.

Lulu prints books on demand through its own print network and has a print service for stores like ours. In Lanternbee you can already pick Lulu as the printer for a paperback or hardcover and upload your print files. Sending each paid order to Lulu, and passing tracking back to the reader, is being built now.

What it does in Lanternbee

  • Each paperback or hardcover edition can name Lulu as its printer.
  • You give the binding, trim size, paper and page count, and upload the interior and cover PDFs once.
  • A print edition only shows in your store when its printer and both PDFs are in place.
  • Coming next: each paid print order goes to Lulu, which prints and ships it to the reader.

Limits

  • Orders do not reach Lulu automatically yet. That part is being built.
  • Lanternbee offers four trim sizes today. If your book uses another size, ask us.
  • Shipping prices are the rates you set in your shipping zones. Live quotes from Lulu are not built yet.

How it works

  1. Add a print edition

    On the book, add a paperback or hardcover edition and choose print on demand.

  2. Choose Lulu and your print details

    Pick Lulu, then the binding, trim size (5x8, 5.25x8, 5.5x8.5 or 6x9), cream or white paper and the page count.

  3. Upload your print files

    Upload the interior PDF and the cover PDF.

  4. Set your shipping prices

    Add shipping zones and rates in your store settings. Readers pick one at checkout.
