Coming. BookVault is not working in Lanternbee yet. This page says what is there today and what is planned.

BookVault prints books one at a time when a reader orders them. In Lanternbee you can already pick BookVault as the printer for a paperback or hardcover and upload your print files. Sending each paid order to BookVault, and passing tracking back to the reader, is being built now.

What it does in Lanternbee

  • Each paperback or hardcover edition can name BookVault as its printer.
  • You give the binding, trim size, paper and page count, and upload the interior and cover PDFs once.
  • A print edition only shows in your store when its printer and both PDFs are in place.
  • Coming next: each paid print order goes to BookVault, which prints and ships it to the reader.

Limits

  • Orders do not reach BookVault automatically yet. That part is being built.
  • Lanternbee offers four trim sizes today. If your book uses another size, ask us.
  • Shipping prices are the rates you set in your shipping zones. Live quotes from BookVault are not built yet.
  • BookVault charges its own title setup fee on its free plan, separate from Lanternbee.

How it works

  1. Add a print edition

    On the book, add a paperback or hardcover edition and choose print on demand.

  2. Choose BookVault and your print details

    Pick BookVault, then the binding, trim size (5x8, 5.25x8, 5.5x8.5 or 6x9), cream or white paper and the page count.

  3. Upload your print files

    Upload the interior PDF and the cover PDF. These are the same files BookVault asks for.

  4. Set your shipping prices

    Add shipping zones and rates in your store settings. Readers pick one at checkout.
