Sign-in security and two-step sign-in
Turn on two-step sign-in with an authenticator app, save your recovery codes, and what to do if you lose your phone.
Two-step sign-in asks for a code from an app on your phone after your password. Someone who learns your password still can’t get into your store. We recommend it.
Turn it on
- Next to your name in the menu, choose Sign-in security.
- Choose Set up.
- Open an authenticator app, like Google Authenticator, 1Password or Authy, and add an account. On your phone, tap the link; otherwise type the key shown on the page.
- Type the 6-digit code from the app.
Save your recovery codes
Lanternbee then shows a list of recovery codes. If you lose your phone, each one lets you in once. Keep them somewhere safe. They are not shown again.
Turn it off
On Sign-in security, enter a code from your app or a recovery code, then choose Turn off.
