Series and reading order

Standalone books don’t need a series. Create one when books belong together, like a trilogy or a run of cookbooks.

Create a series

1. Go to Series and choose New series.
2. Give it a name and, if you like, a description.
3. Choose Create.

The series gets its own page at /series/your-series. Open it to add a cover, change the name, web address or description.

Add books

Open the series and choose Add a book, or open any title and pick the series in its Series field. You can set a book number there too.

Set the reading order

Open the series. Under Reading order, drag the handle next to a book to move it. Choose Save order, or Undo to go back. This is the order readers see. Read more about reading order.

Delete a series

Choose Delete series. The books stay in your catalog. A series that still has books in it cannot be deleted, so move them out first.
