The reader library

Every book a reader buys waits in their library. They don’t need an account or a password.

Signing in

1. The reader types the email they bought with.
2. We send a sign-in link. It works once, for 15 minutes.
3. They open it and see their books.

Nothing arrived? They should check their spam folder, or try the email they bought with.

What readers see

Your books lists every book bought with that email, from every Lanternbee store, with its cover, series and format. For each book they can:

• Download the files: the EPUB, and the PDF if you added one, or the audio files.
• Listen to an audiobook right in the page, chapter by chapter.
• Send to Kindle for EPUB ebooks. See send to Kindle.
• Email me the link again.

On Kobo or another e-reader, readers download the EPUB and copy it over.

Pre-orders and removed books

A book bought before its release date shows the day it will be ready. A book that is no longer available says so.

Books from Shopify

Readers you bring over from Shopify find the books they bought already in their library. There is no order email to resend for those, so they download them from the library.

Readers’ own details

Under Settings, readers can add their name and Kindle address, choose which emails they get from authors, and change their email.
